Hi all,This is my first project for my FIL it’s made from cocobolo,spalted maple,walnut,and oak. The box is dovetailed .1st attempt. The top is 45 degree walnut with a spalted maple insert,the bottom is white oak.I have a long way to go to get as good as you guys but you have to start somewhere.Thanks for your comments. JIM

A journey always has a start. It’s a great box; the spalted maple works well with the rest of the woods.
