This box was made for a friend as a birthday present. It’s made from red oak and cherry and assembled with 5/16 finger joints. The dolphin is hand carved cherry. The lining is red cedar. I had fun with this box. It was the first one I made using a finger loint jig that I built for my router table. It’s not perfect, but it made a nice gift. Thanks for checking it out. RMP…......

That is one of the best carvings I’ve ever seen : ) Very nice job on the box joints and a perfect gift .

Very nice. The added dolphin makes is a very beautiful one-of-a-kind gift. Your friend is very lucky to know you!
