This is a Murphy bed that was finished in April 2016. It is our Hudson Bay face design with an added desk to the face.

On the leg of the desk we grooved out for the customer to put a painting. Some other custom features we did on this one was the customer had a beam that ran along the wall. We took the height down 1” and did a cutout on the back vertical, to clear it.

It only had one bookcase. We put hanging file drawers in the lower section along with a pull out drink tray. The top section has adjustable shelves.

Normally the Hudson Bay style has crown and base molding but this customer choose not to receive an with this bed.

I love it. I built one a few years ago and put the desk on the side. Yours is a great idea!!

Cheers, Jim
