Hi Lumberjocks, I’ve been finishing some bowls in the 6” to 7” range. I added rings to some for variety. Hope it doesn’t take away from the natural beauty of the wood. These two Red Cedar Burls have a Salad Bowl Finish.

I haven’t even looked yet, John. First, I have to get this off my mind. I’m thing, when I’m opening the link, Which John is this? It opens, and I think, that’s wonderful. One of my favorite Johns. I’m gonna go look at it now….

Hey John, those bowls look familiar to me. lol They have a beautiful smooth evenly flow of grain in them. Nice work and great choice of lumber.

I think the rings as allot to the beauty of the bowl and wood. Color is very rich.
