This is a table made from half of a large wood spool, some iron pipe and palette parts. The spool top is just short of 48 inches across and about 2 inches thick. I added black iron pipe legs and have a cross support made from palette parts. It was topped off with a glass table top from an older table. Beyond a little bit of sanding the table was left completely unfinished to retain the weathered look.

Good looking table! I like the use of the iron pipe too.
Just had a friend ask me what I might be able to help him make out of a spool that he has. Will have to tell him about the beauty!
Great job.

That table came out great ! I hope you put some sort of pads on the feet. I’d hate to see someone lean on the table and have it slide across that nice wood floor !
