Built this for my neighbor to hold their record collection (670+). The top flips up to access the turn table. Solid alder except the plywood back.

Beautiful job. They should be more than please with that as their music center for their home.

Very nice design, I especially like that the top can be opened to get at the back of the electronics. Makes accessing all of the wires on the back of things so much easier. You can’t even tell it a lift top when it is down.
