As we move into the last grading period, I am getting bombarded with projects that may students have made. As you can see the bowls are moving pretty good. My students did a very nice job !
The bowls are made up of …. Red cedar, black walnut, white pine, mahogany and oak.
Thanks for looking.

Very nice group of student projects. Without the inspiration and guiding influence of their teacher fine examples of segmented turning would not happen by chance. You have done a fantastic job. I taught next to the wood teacher for 34 years and he was unable to devote much time to wood turning with all the other aspects of wood working. Do you have a class just devoted to wood turning. I have subbed and taught for the wood teacher and there is not allot of time to instruct on the lathe.

As a former Vocational teacher (not woodworking) I know what you mean about the end of the grading period!

I really like the way the bottoms were designed.
