Diameter 87 cm and 42 cm in height
long time since I published a new project because I was busy building my home place rather than have time for design and art.
i take my time and patience enjoyed working on it. I use some wood scraps I had in my workshop. There are 8 type of wood here – oak, walnut, order, mahogany and more. I did not what to give it a smooth as it was done by a lathe, but deliberately emphasize the transitions between the different trees by creating a delicate phase betwin them
i still dont know what it going to be

Awesome and huge! How did you do this? Didn’t look like the typical segmented turning rings. Almost looks like it was formed from vertical strips.

One of the most beautiful segmented bowls. This pattern with different woods squares is excellent. I bet you had some hard work on it.

Amazing work. The size is deceiving. I thought it was small on the first picture. Was totally surprised at the actual scale. I like the transitions between the wood, it keeps them singular yet a part of the bigger piece, like people in a society.

Beautiful – and it does not have to be anything more than an amazing sculpture. Thanks for posting.
