My first ever bowl turning on the lathe. Made from a piece of oak firewood that ended up cracking in a few places and had some spalted sap wood. I was able to glue it back together and salvage the piece. I used butchers block oil to finish. Definitely learned a ton and my next bowl is already in the works and looks even better.

-- What? I didn't "break" it, I was just testing its durability, and then I "placed" it in the woods because it's made of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.
