Salt cellar #1 – cherry and paduk 3 1/2 length x 2 1/8 W x 1 9/16 H, finished w/ salad bowl finish, lid attached furniture bolt
Salt cellar #2 – double decker, walnut and maple 4 3/4 length, x 2 w x 3 1/4 height, finished salad bowl finish

Inspired by LJ amagineer http://lumberjocks.com/projects/89788

Wine tilt made from scraps of paduk, walnut and maple 9 in long x 3 inch widest point x 1 1/2 in thick, finished w/ salad bowl finish. Made from template found on internet, unsure of exact sit. hole is 1 1/4 inch, 45 degree angle, fairly stable.

I like the salt cellar, but I am not familiar with its function. Pardon my ignorance, but why are there two comaprments? Is it for two different types of salt?
