This was inspired by a little rocker I refinished a while back. I glued the legs together from some left over cherry, and some spalted maple. The aprons are from a lumber yard, but the back slats are from my dads maple tree. the joints are drawbored m/t. These pics are before I finished it off with 3 coats of wipe on poly. Its only got a thin coat of shellac on it in the pics. Hope you all like it as much as my daughter does.

I’m sure your daughter does love it….......and her daughter will love it in the future. This piece should stay in the family for years. Well done.
