Just found an old project I hadn’t posted yet, this is a walnut ordament I made for 2014 Christmas, made 2, 1 is still 1/2 done somewhere, we all know how that is :)

Super cool! This would look great on the top of a box applied over maple.

@leafhearder both :D, I found the image on line and glued the blank of walnut, then scroll saw out all the waste, then pull out the carving tools and start carving paying attention to doing the opposite on the other side so when one line goes over another it will go under on the other side. I find carving, especially Celtic knots, very relaxing and almost meditative, just stay up with the wife tune on a good movie and carve away when its too late to be running power tools.
