I think he saying…Life (on the left) is all dark, shriveled and dried up…. where as family life (on the right) is brighter larger and more full….or maybe that was the bourbon telling me that….I forget…

Looks like my liver on the left…that’s what MY bourbon is telling me. Not quite sure here. Can you explain a bit more?

I will try to state the image.
Root from the face slightly clumsy (growth conditions in gravel and sand. to the heavy soil), it is spoiled with decay, bugs and other inside – that is fight for survival.
The second part – two branches of a lilac, last to each other and grow together together. Joint (family) life, sometimes cracks, but they grown together and together endure this moment. They are tried to be rodrubit, spoiled, ruined – to put mutilations, but they. grown together with one bark, support each other, feed and being turned, try to substitute own side protecting the neighbor. (Likely too…....)
