Been homeless for past 6 months.
Found a place to live in comunity where I was born.
Of course having no money and no furniture I decided to build my own.
Luckily I still have some tools here !
A few items I made this month. Found a farm with barn boards. The owner said help yourself.
I did.
Built the 4 poster rustic bed from Cedar 4×4 posts. Then added barnboards to fill in headboard and footboard. The paint is a grey-black distressed finished. 4 coats poly-crylic.
Then I need a coffee table.
Then I needed an end table.
Then a neighbor needed a night table beside her couch
What wall isn’t complete with a mirror. Frame from barn boards, mirror salvaged from dump.
Picture frames made from old barn board as well.
I have a place to sleep. AND I HAPPY in my element building things I like to do.
Currently working on bedroom suite for farmer that gave me boards.
I will post pictures when done.
