Very nice way of keeping the pieces separate…and the profile around the edge of the squares…Such attention to detail makes a great deal of difference.. Did you make the outside squares longer to compensate for the routed profile. Looks great.

No,, there not magnets. its felt thats on the corners.
But I did use a common latch that you can see between the king and queen

Yes, The end squares were longer than the center squares, Then sqared up on the radial arm saw, 3/8 longer then roughted.

No, Got the metal pieces from (PRiNCE & PRANCE). Got the whole set for something like $3.00 wish I had bought more
