I made this star again from pallet wood for my Mother-In-Law. This was my first project with my new planer and it came out great. This also was my first project using Min-waxes tintable stain and I loved it. The color is exactly what she wanted and has it hanging in her living room.

Just fine project. Wood look so good, I couldn’t recognize that it is pallet wood.

Very nice! How big is it? What is the angle from the point back (I’m thinking maybe 18 degrees?) and at the wide end near the center? Thanks for any more info you care to share!

That’s a fine looking star. What saw did you use to cut it Anna?

I like to mix the tintable stain with BLO sometimes to cut down on finishing time. I’ve also mixed it with wipe on poly too.
