I built this for my wife about a month ago. It is/was designed for the kitchen. I wanted functionality. My wife wanted something attractive that she could display some art. Below the art and cabinet door windows hides some space for cereal boxes, chip bags, and other kitchen items. I installed three lights in the top half. The legs of the cabinet have a slight curve, as well as the top of the cabinet doors. It achieved my “functionality” goal and my wife got her art. Just thought I would share. I hope the pictures turn out. The background lighting was giving me a hard time.
The cabinet is made of hard maple. I stained it English Chestnut with Poly finish. If I recall the dimensions are roughly 45” tall by 55” wide by 13” deep. Not positive on that. I put it together over a month ago and my mind is distorted by a few other projects. Have a great day.
