Well, here’s how the greater part of Thanksgiving was spent….getting beat by my brother-in-law at cornhole. Using the game set that I made for him! Oh well…
Made this set up over a few days out of 1/2 birch ply and 1×4 pine. I notched the pine so that the plywood lays in the inset – no exposed plywood edges. The legs fold in so the board becomes nice & flat for storage. Painted it with gloss latex – it’s what most of the cornhole clubs sites recommended.
For the next set I make, I think I’ll try adding a stretcher between the legs. On the stretcher, I’ll drill two sets of holes (sized for golf tees) that can be used as a scorekeeper. I think I’ll also add some handles.
This is great outdoor fun for the whole family! Everyone should get a set!
Enjoy and your comments are welcome.

Well, that Carolina blue had to hurt but the Crimson and Blue bean bags are the ultimate touch. Did your brother in law have anything to say about that? GO JAYHAWKS!

That’s great. Where did you get the dimensions? One opinion, that stripe should be Kentucky blue…GO CATS!
