Bachelor Party Survival Boxes

This was a fun project. The first one of my tight-knit group of friends got married last year, so we had to send him off in grand style. Three of us went and purchased and fixed up a 1987 Dodge Van to transport the six of us from St. Louis to New Orleans for five days. Needless to say, we had a hell of a good time.

While in New Orleans, we figured we would need some survival supplies. So, I broke out the ol’ tool set and put together a survival box for everyone. Boxes are made of pine. We flocked the interior with green flock. I carved out each attendant’s name on the lids and filled with a clear epoxy. We filled the boxes up with everything you need for a successful bachelor party in the Big Easy (flask, alcohol, cigars, 5 hour energies, etc).

Had a great time making them, and a better time utilizing the contents.

These boxes are a great idea—good place to keep your supplies, and a wonderful momento of the adventure!

These make a very nice gift for an occasion like that. They are nicely done and I’m glad that apparently everyone survived; so all is well.
