It has been a while since I have posted any recent projects. I completed this pantry remodel about a month ago and have moved on to a laundry room remodel.
We had a small pantry closet with a bi-fold door that measured about 24” wide by 24” deep be about 7’ tall. Inside was some standard wire shelving that was in dire need of replacement. You can see what we started off with in the final picture. My wife has been asking me to redo this for the past couple years so I decided to give it a shot.
The new door casing is made from hard maple. The doors themselves are all birdseye maple. The panels are also birdseye maple that was resawn and book matched before being glued up. All were finished with several coats of Arm-R-Seal satin sprayed on with Rockler’s little HVLP unit. This was the first time I had used an HVLP spray system and, WOW, what a time saver! All the interior hardware is by Rev-A-Shelf.
Thank you very much for looking!
