This was a quick little project I did. I built it in a weekend and then finished it the following weekend. Its out of hickory that was given to me by a buddy that had it for no reason except that it was given to him. It’s modeled after my drafting desk. I wish I would have dont the top, sliding dovetail drawer guides andthe work surface differently. But, that gives me an excuse to build another. Maybe next time I’ll be more patient and clean up all of the glue inside the drawers and what not. Patience is a virture in woodworking.

oh man.. this is wonderful!!
and so organized. I wouldn’t want anyone to see our flytying area—ewww

a “quick little project”—this would take me months!!

Very nice job!!! I used to do the fly tying thing, in the ‘60’s, but my bench/table was not as elegant as yours, keep up the good work!

Very well done, and that looks like a Regal vise, I use a similar one, talk about a work horse of a vise eh?
