I wanted to make a nice sheath for the marking knife my husband just bought for me to keep my fingers intact and the knife sharp. I came up with this cute fishy idea. It has a magnet to hold the knife in place while it’s hanging. The tiny eyelet with leather cord is perfect for hanging it above my work station too.

The wood is a really pretty piece of black walnut left over from one of his chairs or maybe the wild work bench he just built.

That’s all there is to say, it works great.
