Here is a router jig I made to create a 16” radius on a fret board (ebony).

Three pieces… the base, the sled, and a router base that is curved to move left/right on the sled – providing a 16” radius.

What this does is give you a rough shape to the fret board. Once you are in the ballpark, you go at it with “Radius Blocks” at various radiuses to get a complex radius. These you can buy at places like Stew Mac.

Good looking jig, that makes for easy Pickens; congratulations.

This looks like a great jig and it’s a nice addition to your shop.
