Based on a project by a fellow LJ member (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/18854), I decided to take on the catapult project for my nephew this past week. About 6 ft of 2×4 and an hour of work, and viola! BOMBS AWAY!

Hey, that’s really cool. I remember having to make them in the 6th grade but they did not have bungie cords back in 1954!

How far does it throw stuff?

Now that’s what I’d like to see more of! Folks just gettin together fartin around with wood and tools having a good time! Although, Can;t figure out where the rest of the 2x went :-)
