I saw one of these from another LJ and liked it so I thought I would try to make one. It is on these small projects I will use different woods and learn what they cut and finish like. This was my first time using birds eye maple. I learned that I had to take light cuts with the thickness planer or it would chip out the bird’s eye. It finished great with tung oil.

Nothing like a project that you can finish up in a short time and enjoy. Good Job.
