since gardening is my second passion in life i really love these basket hangers great idea,you should take one to your local nursery id bet they would love to buy some from you.i know those would sell easily.i wish i had that backyard youve got living in so cal we dont have a lot of yard space.great job.

Thank you for the kind compliments. I agree that these would sell. The garden magazine where I took the idea has metal versions for $86/post – these cost about $20 to make. However, I’m not really into making anything more than once so selling things is not for me.

Yeah, big yard equals lots of mowing. After living through another cold winter with a blizzard, I think I’ll take your So Cal location any day. Actually, I dream of moving to San Diego.

i hear ya my dad retired to grants pass oregon with about an acre of lawn to mow,but he loved it,twice a week in the summer,not for me.san diego is beutiful though.i say the best weather any where in the world is between san diego and santa barbara.im looking at the temecula area for retirement myself,im a wino though-lol.
