A dear friend passed away last Fall and I was asked to make a small keepsake urn for a friend of the family with some of the ashes.

I also made a memento box with a small urn for her husband. The urn is attached to the inside bottom of the box with similar construction as the small urn, but rectangular rather than square.

Made with Leopard wood and Black Walnut, finished with Waterlox.
Urn is 3” x 3” x 2.5”
Box is 5” x 8” x 3”

This turned out so nicely and I’m sure they must have appreciated it.

Realy uniques and unusual shape. This wood also looks very interesting.
