It was a long winter for sure, I decided to take a earlier pattern I had for this coach and enlarge it 75%, needless to say I should have taken “woo shop” instead of “office machines” when I was in High School. I made some extra mods to pattern by creating the the doors so they would open, and also places a foots step on the brake cross bar to aide in getting into the coach, that idea came from a picture of a Stage with it like that. For sure I am glad that Spring has arrived and can get to new projects.

Very Very Nice I have always wanted to do a stagecoach do you by chance have or know where I can get the plans?
I am just about done with my latest project another old JD and am starting to look for a new project.

That’s a lovely piece of work, great attention to detail. What timber did you use to make this?

It is made out of Oak, and I will leave the horses to someone else who took “wood shop” and not “typing” like I did.

Amazingly detailed stagecoach! I love how you were able to incorporate many real life details like the operating doors!
