I just started using a spray gun to prime the display cases I’m working on.
One of the obstacles was getting paint into the gun with the gravity feeder (I have a gun that has the filler on the bottom but it doesn’t seem to work as well as the gravity feed gun).
Between the wife and I we were able to get the feeder loaded with paint but it required both of us until I built a temporary stand with 2 clamps and couple pieces of wood.
Here then is the final version of my spray gun stand – cost = free since I had everything in stock and was all scrap except the dowel which I was using else where.
I had to put the brace along the back or the guns would tip when paint was added.
Now I can load up all 3 guns with paint if I want, spray away, grab another rinse and repeat.
As my motto has become…
It’s not pretty, but it’s functional!
