Very Nice, I was an Apache guy and have thought of one day of coming up of a way to make a mock Hellfire missile. Can you share any details and tricks you used?

Rogue_Scotsman. I used two 2×4’s glued together. Once I scaled the actual dimensions of the missile down, I cut off as much of the excess as I could with my table saw then hand planned, filed and sanded down the 1/2 missile to the correct shape, then added the fins. Easier than I though it would be. I think a hellfire will be the next one that I do. This missile ended up being about 36” long. Might try making it on the lathe next time and make it a whole missile. I drilled holes and used rivets along the missile in the actual pattern of a real missile to give it some extra detail. I was happy with the way that it came out.

Have your say...
