Barn Wood Quilt Frame

My cousin’s wife made him a quilt hanging for him their anniversary and ask me if I would make a frame for it. The wood came from a barn my son and I took down a few years ago. The frame is 28” x 33”. the mitered corners are reinforced with biscuits.

please tell your cousin’s wife, that her quilt is delightful, The deer is extremely well done and almost looks like a picture. kudos. The frame is rustic and looks great. great collaboration!

I like this in terms of texture and color! Very complimentary combination. I see a slight 3D effect due to the horns extending into the border areas. This is the type of work that I would stop and look at for a while before moving on.
