Picked up the concept on a woodsmith dvd. This is a thank you gift for my sister-in-law for all the kind things she does. The frame is poplar and the slats are walnut, aspen, and poplar. Used blind dovetails for joinery and used the scroll saw to make the cutouts for the hand holds. Had to deal with some errors related to getting the slats in a bit too snug (related to wood movement – thanks to LJS that gave me feedback on that). Finished with GF High Performance
