So when you try to crosscut anything over 12in on my table saw. its a pain because I slide my miter gauge back and it’s sticking off the front of my table saw and I’m trying to balance it while I’m pushing the wood Foward.

So I decided to build the infeed support for miter gauge. Very simple build it just goes around the front rail and flat with my table saw top and now I could put my miter gauge back another 15 inches without trying to balance it!

Excellent idea. Wonder why I never thought about that.
It has been a pain in the A+++ .
Thanks for sharing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
