At the beginning of the year my 3 year old niece was diagnosed with leukemia, she is fighting hard and winning. Her treatments are going well and she is a real trooper. My father and stepmom held an online auction in order to help raise some funds to help out. I decided that I could make something and donate it to the auction. Immediately I thought of the WoodWhisperer’s Woodworkers fighting cancer event and how I had always wanted to participate in that, but could never find the time. Funny how when it effects you personally time seems to come available. I downloaded his set of plans and built two sets of tables and chairs to donate to the auction.

Since I’m sure lots of these have been submitted on here, dimensions are standard per the plans and made out of 3/4” birch plywood. I used General Finishes Arm-R-Seal, red and teal paint. I delivered the finished product a few weeks back and both recipients love them.

Thanks PRG, these tables came from Mark Spagnuolo’s Woodworker’s Fighting Cancer build from 2015, plans are on his website. The rest of my builds are roughly sketched in a notebook I have, and I figure things out as I go. So no real plans per say.
