Finished up the Wavy Larry board today.
The glue up was rather frightful, but I survived.
One block somehow missed pressure during glue, and there was a slight gap.
No problem though….that’s where I put the forstner bit through for a hanging or grip hole. Problem solved.

It is bloodwood and hard maple, and will finished with Howards Butcher Block Oil. (I love this stuff)
Another successful weekend, thank you Larry : )

Lisa,
Beautiful combination of woods. i especially like the figuring in the woods.
Clever use of a “mistake” too.

I hope you don’t try playing chess on this board after a few drinks…

well done! I am going to have a go at it as well. will try slow setting epoxy for the glueup as this will not be for food but for a friend that plays chess.

Great bord. Great “Mid Process Design Change” That hole will come in very handy.

Love the woods used, and the design. One day. After I purchase quite a few more clamps though.

Keep up the great work.
