Asked to build a chest shadow box for a retiring MSgt at a local base. What started out as a Foot-Locker ended up being a little bit more. Made of solid maple and stained per customers choice. The handles and lid stays were made by a local young man who has the talent to braid all sorts of designs using paracord. The red stripe in them were specifically requested because of the unit the member belonged to. The family was very pleased with how it turned out.

I would be more impressed if this was a stick hollowed out with a dollar inside or a pile of limbs (future Projects)....

Wow, this is amazing!

I’m interested in getting a similar shadow box chest for my upcoming retirement. I’d like to know if you’d be willing to take on this project, and I’d like an estimated quote. I don’t know if you do engraving on the wood, but I’d be interested in getting the USAF seal on the inside lid when raised, and maybe my name somewhere on the box. Please let me know if you’re interested. Thanks for your time.
