My boy wants to build with me this summer, so I figured I’d help his tiny ears out and make a caddie where ear plugs are easily accessible to him. Also it gave me an excuse to use my new Grizzly tablesaw for the first time. I’m impressed how quiet it actually is. My miter saw is louder than my tablesaw….. never would have thought. I promise I hug it straight threw my torpedo on it. The cut out for the light switches is what’s not straight. But I didn’t cut that hole.

Very thoughtful, Teddy. Teach ‘em young. Congrats on the new table saw. Now you need push blocks, and a crosscut sled, and, and, and,... ;-)

Shop vac is the loudest thing in our shop.

Teach them to save those ears while they are young, says the old deaf guy.

Yeah he’s 8 and really good at pretending he didnt hear you. He wants to help but he has sensitive ears and the noise makes him go back in the house. I have pondered learning how to use hand tools to help get him more involved and cut the noise down. Cause it’s nice to have a little helper in the shop.
