This is the latest David Wakefield designed animated wood toy I have built.

I made this one from Brazililan Cherry, then dipped in food grade mineral oil.

To avoid wood burn and an impossible sanding job on the triangular element, I scroll sawed it using a spiral blade.

Now that looks like a fun one need to add this to favorites and give it a try.
Will have to dig out his book.
One change I think I’d make is have his head bob up and down also just for fun.

-- There's a hundred ways to do anything, alot depends on the tools at hand.
