While I was in Kansas City, I stayed at my mother-in-laws home, and I noticed a couple of my early projects, when i was getting back into woodworking after a few years.
Project 3 and 4: Some clocks.
These were a couple of clocks that I made for her. I’ve posted mine as earlier projects.
Big Leaf Maple clock. http://lumberjocks.com/projects/1006
Table Clock. http://lumberjocks.com/projects/711
Here table clock was made with Bubinga while mine was made with Cocobolo. Until I became allergic to Cocobolo and I can’t use it again. So the next one was Bubings.
Her Big Leaf maple clock was made from the second slice of the burl that I bought on ebay. I resawed it into two pieces. One I kept and I made the other for her. Thats why they have the same shape. It looks like a couple of the hours letters are missing. I’ll neeed to get them replaced.

Next to small wooden boxes, Karson, I really like small wooden clocks. These are very nice.
