My wife has wanted a bedroom set for about a year and I think she fooled me into going shopping with her to look at sets. I think she knew there was no way I was going to pay that much money for junk which most of it is. Well played dear…well played. Went to a local saw mill, picked up some walnut and got to work. My first time making anything with drawers so that was a bit trying at times but I do now know a little more than I knew when I started so that is a good thing. This was my first big project in a while ( I usually start running of patience on larger projects) but this was pretty enjoyable and wife is happy.

I love the clean lines and the symmetry. Once I buy a house this will be one of my first projects.

Don’t stop. It is necessary to finish. In the lathe to turn a monogram (Monogram) on columns. A fret saw to cut out laid on flowers and color wood that it was allocated are lighter. Don’t stop, it is necessary to lick into shape….. At the end I will wish – the Cosiness in the house…...

This is awesome. What did you use for the drawer pulls?

‘Well played’ to your wife! She sounds pretty smart – not that it’s that hard to trick us into making things…

And well played to you, too! Looks fantastic.

Ros, this is a grand bed and so beautifully done. I’m sure that your wife loves this bed. It really sets that room off and must be a great conversation piece.
