I made this lumber rack from a plan I saw in a magazine
I had to buy 1 plank of 3/4 – I should have bought 2 but I got cheap and used some 5/8 scrap I had on hand and of course now it’s starting to lean – I’ll replace the 5/8 one day LOL
Most of this is scrap I had laying around
The wheels I got from a harbor freight dolly that was on sale for 8.00 (I bought 5 of them). The wheels are actually better than the dolly (4” inch wheels cost about $4 each so I saved $8 on each dolly), so I took off the wheels and replaced them with smaller wheels.
I now use the larger wheels on other things like my shop, reloading and outdoor garden tables – saved me quite a bit of money switching those wheels around!
The handle makes it easier to move around – also not seen behind the rack is where sheet goods go – I keep the sheet goods in place by using some tie down straps – otherwise they fall when the rack is moved out from the wall
-- They said I could be anything... So I became Sarcastic! They also said making drawers is easy... I think they lied :(
