this is a matching coffee and end table that i made about 15 years ago,it has gone through a few renovations over the years to get where i liked the end result.the bases are cherry, the top is ipe with maple plugs and inlay on the top and the wood is left in on purpose as i like the contrast,a furniture maker would never do this.i always buy grade 2 for that reason i dont like perfection in wood.the finishes is my go to poly oil blend.comments good or corrective are always welcome.

Very unique and unusual shape and design. Those inlay stripes looks intersting, as well as dowels.
