This project has taken my garage from being extremely cluttered to just simply cluttered. I was going to work on a project today and i became frustrated at the disorganization of my clamps so i dropped what i was doing and worked on this. Its nothing fancy. I used some scrap mdf that was also in my way. (two birds with one stone). I spent the biggest part of the day on this, but it was well worth it. This is actually in a little closet in my garage which limited my ability to take good pics.

Nice looking rack! (gosh, I can’t believe I said that). A clamp rack is still needed in my shop. I like the extra storage you have with it. I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for posting.

This looks pretty good. Keeping clamps organized and readily available with a rack like this eliminates a lot of frustration during glue ups. I am going to have to do something similar since mine are just piled in a corner.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Hey Randy: Very nice job, and well done. A clamp rack is a “must have” item in a shop. I built mine a few years back(see my woodshop pixs, and pixs#2), and am not sure you can build them big enough!! lol. The more clamps—- the more space you need! Keep on keeping on.

The storage above is a great idea. Usually wasted space.

I wish I had the clamps to justify building a rack like that! My 2’ long 2×4 screwed to the wall is fine for now.
