Hi everyone, this is a box joint table with a steel frame. Made of ash and finished with tung oil. The box joint add a rustic touch. I’m happy with how the joints turned out. I made these using my homemade jig and a Freud super dado. I will get myself a better dado for hardwood to minimize tearout. I used a sacrificial back and I feed it sloooooowly and it tears a lot.

It was a pretty straightforward project compare to the previous one wich was the 3 way miter corners kitchen island and I really appreciate to finish it within a couple of days.

Thank you reading and commenting.

Hi Alex – this is great! Do you mind sharing where you got the base? Did you make that as well?

Have your say...
