Another nice bench. The live edge mesquite is a beautifull wood.

What a nice job. I am totally new to this and I intend to build my own mesquite kitchen island bar top. However, I have no idea how to make it look as nice as your bench. All I know is that I need to sand it for a while, but no idea how to fill up the cracks and make it look shiny and durable. Any advice for a very very beginner?
I intend to use it on top of a rock wall.
