Dug my daughters wagon to find the paint coming off in sheets, damn you Harbor Freight. Instead of repainting, wife said I should rebuild it so I could add rails that would actually hold my child in. I didn’t ask questions.
Base is made from leftover 3/4 plywood from another project, one piece 15×30 and then for the perimeter I cut some plywood about 2.5 inches wide and screwed it all together. Rails and support are made from random 2×4s that were in my house when I bought it, rails themselves are 2×4s cut in half and rounded over. Front piece is from my ubiquitous pallet scrap pile that I brad-nailed in. Wagon components are, you guessed it, from harbor freight. All rails and supports are completely removable, just screwed in.
Still need to protect it, anyone have a good finish in mind for outdoor protection? It will spend most of its life behind a shed.
