I turned the bowl on the lathe then carved the surrounding wood after. The inlay is turquoise and copper.

Beautiful artistic license. The walnut and turquoise inlay play well off each other. Excellent job!

Reckon this would roll over into the Art category with ease, Very nice piece it has a real tactile look about it, you just want to pick it up and enjoy :)
