This beautiful rustic coffee table is made of maple wood with a bar top (epoxy) finish. The 2 inch thick maple top is a solid piece formed with a chain saw and then sanded down to produce a smooth finish. The table is 44 inches long and 20 inches wide. The legs are knotty pine with a medium stain applied and are 3 inches thick. The table height is approximately 20 inches.

A very nice table. Great use of wood. I used to have a sawmill friend (I moved and he died) He would throw me all of his slab pieces that he knew he couldn’t sell.

I’ve got a few pieces that could be used for something like this.

Thanks for the inspiration.

This looks like the type furniture Grizzly Adams might have made for his shack in the woods…......doubt if he would have finished as nice as this.
Great job….....nicely done.
