this is my second workbench, but my favorite so far. I made a rolling tool cabinet a while back so to maximize floor space I cut the bottom drawer off and mounted the unit into the workbench. this thing is heavier than anything with the MDF laminated top and fully loaded drawers so I made a flip out style mobile base when I need to move it. dog holes on the top to functionality. I have a few vises that I’m going to add to increase efficiency and maybe a few other upgrades to gas it up. 2 layers of mdf for the top and a sheet of hardboard to cover it. legs are 4×4 with 2×4 supports

thanks for looking

That is a perfectly adequate bench that won’t break the bank account. The only thing you need to do is ad atleast one vise. Nice work.

Excellent! Yesterday I laminated 3 layers of 3/4 ply for my bench. I’m planning on doing the same thing with the hardboard top and oak banding. I am headed down stairs shortly to pull out the partly finished legs I started a year ago. I hope I can remember my plan for them!

Nice work making a functional workspace.
