I bought this bread box about six months ago at the Goodwill store for 5 bucks. As I was cleaning my guns I decided to make a stand for my rifles. I did a search on our friendly Lumberjocks site and looked up rifle cleaning stand and a project By Blake popped up. My 5 dollar bread box looked similar to the Cabelas model he is using as a pattern. With some improvising mission was accomplished by cutting 2 cradles out of blood wood and a couple of hinges ….(glued felt in the cradles). Mounting a swivel box on the door and a yellow box on the back for shoot gun cords.made it pretty functional …..
